Desde Warner decidieron dar luz verde al largo animado en DVD del Gladiador Esmeralda Linterna Verde.
GREEN LANTERN: FIRST FLIGHT es producida por Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series), dirigida por Lauren Montgomery (Wonder Woman, Superman Doomsday) y escrita Alan Burnett (The Batman).
El actor Christopher Meloni (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) interpreta a Hal Jordan, conocido en la Tierra como Green Lantern; Victor Garber (Milk, Titanic) dará voz al malvado Sinestro, Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica) interpretará a Boodikka, y Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs) al poderoso Kilowog.
GREEN LANTERN: FIRST FLIGHT es coproducida por Warner Premiere, DC Comics y Warner Bros. Animation, y llega al DVD y Blu-ray por Warner Home Video el 28 de julio de 2009.
